The Associated Press reported today on a semi-truck accident that occurred in Missouri.
According to the news story, the accident occurred this morning and involved 45,000 pounds of hydrochloric acid. After the truck crashed, the acid spilled and released a cloud of toxic gas. A nearby casino was asked to keep patrons and employees inside and turn off air handling units.

SunTimes.com reported that a Florida truck driver was cited after allegedly causing an eight vehicle collision in Monee, Illinois. In this case, the truck driver failed to reduce his speed and was using the lane on the road improperly.

SignOnSanDiego.com reported today that a truck driver driving a meat truck in Balboa Park was injured when his vehicle flipped. According to the report, a government van struck the truck, causing it to flip on its side. The truck driver was injured and taken to a local hospital, but no futher information was disclosed regarding his health status.
